This Policy was developed after advice and referencing the AMA private practice material in relation to the development of a Privacy Policy for medical organisations and practices. It does not formally reference the AMA material. As a small Healthcare entity, NEH has adopted industry and private practice recommendations that relate to data and information for Healthcare websites.

As concerns about the protection of personal information are increasing worldwide, newERAS has implemented and provides site visitors with a comprehensive privacy policy.
This privacy policy statement discloses some or all of the ways this website collects, uses, discloses, and manages the data of visitors and customers. It fulfills all legal requirements to protect a visitor or client's privacy.

New Eras can receive and store any information you enter on our website or provide us in any other way. In addition, we collect the internet protocol (IP) address used to connect your computer to the internet; login, e-mail address; password; computer and connection information.
We may use software tools to measure and collect session information, including page response times, length of visits to certain pages, page interaction information, and methods used to browse away from the page.
Methods employed by new ERAS to collect information.
New ERAS collects site visitors' personal information a visitor sends a message through a contact form, when a visitor subscribes to become a member, and when members visit the site. When you supply information to new ERAS during a visit to our website, as a part of the process, we collect personal information such as name, address and email address. Your personal information will be used for the specific reasons stated above only.

Our company is hosted on the Wix.com platform. Wix.com provides us with the online platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you. Your data may be stored through Wix.com’s data storage, databases and the general Wix.com applications. They store your data on secure servers behind a firewall.
Personal information may at times be provided to other healthcare providers in order to effect the provision of anaesthetic services, assist in setting up anaesthetic service provision and to maintain the provision of anaesthetic services at a site or sites throughout Australia.
At times a third-party may receive information other than for the set up and provision of anaesthetic services in the case of legal enforcement agencies, according to relevant local regulations. The provision of personal information to a third-party may be to a directly relevant healthcare bureaucracies, and/or a private healthcare organisation, and/or authority. Examples of the types of agencies communicated with include DHHS Vic, DHHS Tas, NSW Health, Qld Health, NT Health, SA Health, WA Health, DoHA, Medicare Australia, and ACHS.
Communication with site visitors.
As a means of communication (e.g. email, text message, etc.,) for a specific purpose (e.g. marketing campaigns, promotions, providing information, quotations, updates, etc.), new ERAS contacts site visitors by using personal information collected from our website. Any individual or entity can notify new ERAS in person, by telephone, email or other means and can opt out of receiving such messages.
We may contact you to notify you regarding your contact, account or membership to troubleshoot problems, to resolve a dispute, to collect fees or monies owed, to poll your opinions through surveys or questionnaires, to send updates about our company, or as otherwise necessary to contact you in relation to enforce a User Agreement or Contract, applicable national laws, and any agreement we may have with you. This is stored on our database and managed for members who access this area. We do not collect any further detail(s) or information from members through the website. The only other information gained by our team is that conveyed in written material from a user in the contact us area in order to answer queries and respond to contact made through the website.

Cookies can either be persistent or session based. Persistent cookies that are stored on your computer or recorded on your hardware or cloud network, contain an expiry date, and may only be used to track your browsing behaviour upon return to the issuing web site.
